"Blackie and I have enjoyed the obedience class. We have learned and had fun. Blackie came from the SPCA and apparently had no training. She pulled constantly on a leash and showed aggression toward other dogs, with one exception our poodle that she gets along with.

Since being in this beginner dog obedience class, she had learned to play with other dogs off the leash, sit, stay, lie down, heel, come when called, stop and wait until I give her the signal to go. She is still learning about ,leave it, and we will continue to work on this with the skills I learned in this class.

Blackie knew when she was going to the class and would get very excited. Learning to be with other dogs and interact had been the best part. We enjoy a better relationship now that she is more obedient, and I have learned how to handle her in a more consistent manner.

Laura is very knowledgeable, loves and understands dogs.  Blackie liked her immediately and responded to her gentle way of training.  I would recommend this class to anyone wanting to improve their dogs behavior and to gain a better understanding of dogs and how they think."
